| Combining elements of ambient and World music, Green Sky's challenging and diverse titles push the envelope by combining musical genres. Green Sky's artists infuse this innovative mix with intentional energy and a sense of spirit, to create music that transforms your inner experience, and moves you to another place and time.
Together with our friends at Spotted Peccary, Green Sky has released our initial album, Annapurna: The Towering Sky, by Mark Hunton. Drums and percussion from around the world blend with cedar flutes, acoustic and electric guitars, female vocals, koto, piano, sitar and synthesizers to create an eclectic world of music that ranges from ethereal and mystical to upbeat and primal. Artists from Spotted Peccary and Green Sky are also combining forces to on an awe-inspiring recording journey to Tibet. Updates from the journey, including photos, will be available on this Web site. Upon the artists' return, work will begin on an album based on the recordings made on this trip. Proceeds from this album will help support the SEVA Foundation's efforts to alleviate blindness in Tibet.
